Karen_E._Bononi practices in the Estate Planning & Representation and Tax Planning & Dispute Resolution practice groups where she concentrates on business and tax planning, tax controversy, as well as estate planning and administration. She also represents clients in nonprofit formation and administration.
Ms. Bononi is also a Certified Public Accountant. After receiving her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the Pennsylvania State University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame, she earned her certified public accountant license while working as an auditor for a Fortune 500 corporation based in Pittsburgh. She also held various business planning and customer service positions prior to attending law school. Ms. Bononi then continued on to receive her law degree from the University of Pittsburgh. Since obtaining her law degree, Ms. Bononi has taught the course, Accounting for Lawyers at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law.
Ms. Bononi is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and in the United States Tax Court.
