Chadd C. Colin

Chadd C. Colin is a Partner at Morella & Associates, and is a Director in the Corporate Practice Group focusing on commercial transactions, and is also a member of the Litigation Practice Group. Chadd brings extensive legal experience in representing and counseling small businesses, large corporations, non-profit organizations, and financial institutions on various corporate and commercial matters. His experience spans general corporate transactions, complex disputes, and day-to-day legal advisory services.
Chadd provides legal counsel on commercial contracts, employment law, real estate rights, credit and collections, intellectual property, corporate governance, and general liability matters. With a proven track record in litigation, he has tried numerous cases to verdict and has argued successfully before the Pennsylvania Superior Court on several occasions.
At Morella & Associates, Chadd will enhance his focus on mergers and acquisitions and corporate governance, strengthening the firm’s capabilities in these critical areas.
Chadd earned his Juris Doctorate from Drexel University in 2009, where he was honored to serve as the Commencement Speaker for the inaugural graduating class. He also holds two Bachelor’s degrees from Penn State University (2006).
In addition to his professional achievements, Chadd actively participates in community and professional organizations. He is the Vice President of the Three Rivers Chapter of BNI and a dedicated parishioner at St. Catherine of Sweden Church in Hampton Township. He was also recently appointed to the Board of Directors of the Pittsburgh Warriors, a non-profit organization offering disabled veterans the opportunity to “heal through hockey.”
A former hockey official with 18 years of experience across professional, collegiate, major junior, and amateur levels, Chadd has retired from officiating but remains involved in youth sports. He volunteers as a coach for the Pittsburgh Penguins Mite Development League and youth baseball teams under the McCandless Athletic Association and Ingomar-Franklin Park Little League.
