Our Story

Jeffrey J. Morella, the founder of Morella & Associates, started the firm in 1991 as a solo practitioner focusing on estate and tax planning. Since that time, the firm has grown in size with the expansion of employees and practice capabilities, as well as the ongoing development of the firm’s innovative legal approach for its clients. In 2024, Jeff’s daughter, Gabrielle N. Morella, became the Managing Partner of the firm, and the firm implemented the expansion of its Management Team for continued growth and its ability to provide client centered legal advice.

We are proud that so many of our clients have remained and grown with us since the firm’s inception. This is the result of our ability to adapt to ever-changing markets, and the firm’s commitment to act with uncompromising character and respect for all parties in all matters.

Consistent with the firm’s values, the team at Morella & Associates embraces and fosters their role as community partners and innovators in the greater Pittsburgh area. We are active members of civic and community organizations, and serve as board members to local non-profit organizations.
